SISTER is a summer institute that takes students through the full research cycle, from question to publication. Over a structured summer programme, students are paired with mentors, choose a novel research direction in AI / ML, and produce a publishable artefact by the end of the cohort. SISTER emphasises depth over breadth: rather than completing surface-level projects, students are guided through producing genuine, citeable research outputs. The programme is run in partnership with Synthica, with the Dubai CS Society co-leading the ML stream.
